How It Works
Each timer runs on its own requestAnimationFrame loop using performance.now() for drift-free accuracy. Countdown timers trigger a short sine-wave beep via the Web Audio API when reaching zero. The alarm auto-stops after 3 seconds or when any timer control is pressed.
Timers can be labeled (e.g., "Pasta", "Eggs") to distinguish multiple running timers. Finished countdown timers stay visible with a "Done" badge until reset.
Use Cases
- Cooking multiple dishes with different cook times
- Pomodoro sessions (25/5 min) with labeled work/break timers
- Interval training — work/rest cycles
- Presentations or meetings with time limits
- Any situation needing multiple concurrent countdowns
